Loftus Caravan City started in September 1988 as Loftus Sprite, by Joel Loftus (Snr) and his three sons Woody, Neil and Joel (Jnr).
The company soon became South Africa's leading Sprite dealer and was awarded the Gypsey franchise in 1992, which they called Northrand Gypsey. This business was operated from the same premises. Their total dedication and top sales figures caught the eye of Jurgens CI and are now Jurgens (since 1995), as well as Wilk dealers.
